Latex Ceiling Balloon Care
Our latex ceiling balloons are inflated with helium and are designed to float beautifully for your celebration.
Expected Float Time
- Standard latex balloons typically float for 12–24 hours.
- Float time can vary depending on room temperature and environmental conditions.
To Help Them Last Longer
- Keep balloons indoors.
- Avoid direct sunlight and conservatories.
- Keep away from radiators, fireplaces and other heat sources.
- Avoid sharp objects, rough surfaces and textured ceilings.
- Keep away from ceiling fans and air conditioning vents where possible.
Hot Weather
Warm temperatures cause helium to expand, which can occasionally cause balloons to burst. During hot weather, keep the room as cool as possible and avoid leaving balloons in parked cars or conservatories.
Cold Weather
If balloons are exposed to cold temperatures, they may temporarily appear to shrink. This is normal, and they will usually return to their original size once back at room temperature.
Textured Ceilings
Ceilings with textured finishes (such as Artex) can rub against latex balloons, increasing the chance of them popping. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee balloons against damage caused by textured ceilings.
Important Information
Latex balloons are made from a natural material and will slowly lose helium over time. This is completely normal and not a fault with the balloons.
While we take every care to ensure your balloons leave us in perfect condition, we cannot accept responsibility for damage or reduced float time caused by environmental factors, including:
- Textured ceilings
- Heat or direct sunlight
- Sharp objects
- Pets or children
- Outdoor use
- Transportation after collection
- Smoke machines or excessive air movement
